What's foreign, what's native
A beach, the sound of a Spanish guitar, the sea... and a couple runs across the sand, bursting with carefree laughter.
Already in the room, they begin to get to know each other better; the girl asks the guy to stay here and not go anywhere. He says he'll try and steps out onto the balcony to think it all over... the sea whispers to him that it's time for him to settle down and stay with the girl.
A briefing. Agent Bullet receives information from Russian command...
Agent Tross reported receiving the data from the Spanish nuclear silo protocol, but he didn't send it, and he's not responding to contact.
He's either dead or has betrayed Russia. Bullet needs to back him up or eliminate him,
but the data must be obtained.Where a man fails, a woman will succeed. She is embedded into the headquarters posing as an accountant.
She immediately checks Tross's work schedule and goes to the head of security to view the footage from the relevant camera on the day Tross reported receiving the protocol.
Of course, the guard wasn't planning to violate his duties, but she's on staff, she's not an outsider, and she's so sexy... Moreover—he told her that no one had even approached him about it (though Tross should have), and there was no glitch in the timing or the camera's operation.
Then she begins tailing Tross, using her position at headquarters to access all reports and schedules. She studied all his routes and associates, saw him embracing a Spanish woman, and that she lives with him. Taking advantage of the fact that he doesn't know Bullet, only the accountant, she summoned him to her office, supposedly to discuss his bonuses. Tross immediately showed several signs of interest; Bullet skillfully extracts information about his affairs in this country from the conversation... And judging by his unspoken joy, she understands he has no intention of returning to Russia.
She contacts command and reports on the situation. They ask her to retrieve the protocol and then deal with Tross. They warn that the Spaniards might have set a trap for Bullet, anticipating that Tross could have leaked information about the Russian presence at the facility. Bullet realizes she is under suspicion.
The next day, command summons her for a few questions. They know she is Bullet and tell her so. She manages to present everything in a way that suggests Tross simply infiltrated their trust, rather than sold out. And he has already obtained the silo protocol; then she plays the recording of his report to Russian command, while herself recounting the details she noted at the security checkpoint. Based on these details, Tross could have even bypassed all surveillance systems, and she could have too, if they dared to check. They temporarily release Bullet, while deciding to pit the Russians against each other. Bullet is given a chance to prove her worth by extracting the protocol without a trace, and Tross—to discreetly watch her and interfere.
In dark halls and corridors, the agents meet with pistols in hand. A Russian traitor and a Russian spy. She manages to outsmart him, and now, with the last bullet, she stands over him, holding the pistol to his temple. He says, "Shoot, after all, the Motherland said to kill... life there is worth nothing."
And she can't. She cries.
An extermination squad was sent after them, but they managed to break away even without ammunition. Stopping at a motel and getting to know each other better, they decide to start mercenary activity here, in Spain.
